Well, I have a very good news regarding Luigi, the little kitten I rescued, see previous post for more details about his story. Last Wednesday I went to see him and brought him lots of food and treats. He was such an amazing little kitten, affectionate, cute and well behaved. He seemed healthy and doing well. So the option to put him to sleep was ruled out completely. so, we had to find a place for him. Anyway, to cut a long story short, the son of my landlady, who lives in another town, decided to take him. I think he went to see Luigi when he was still at the vet and fell in love with him, hehe. So, I'm so relieved and delighted that poor Luigi is safe, warm, gets lots of yummy food and tons of cuddles :) I love happy endings, don't we all do?
On other news:
-I made tons of tomato sauce, chutneys, jams, preserves and now I'm set for the whole winter. I can see myself feasting on homemade bread smothered with homemade chutneys and topped with a hunk of local and organic cheese, hehe.
-Last week I made a nice cake for my neighbour's 89th birthday. She is so lovely and cute and so fit. Still does everything by herself; she cooks her food and wash her clothes and light her own fireplace every winter. She was so touched by my nice cake a little present.
-The weather has changed dramatically and we have been having lots of rain and very cool temperature.
I will upload new photos of Luigi and food I made when i figure out how to do it. I want to be able to put a daily picture of my day.
