In photos: Mainly food and a recipe

 Of course I had to show Kiwi and Luna :) Notice the fields behind them.
 This is Farinata ( a popular dish in Northern Italy) made from chickpeas flour. It is easy and wheat-free:  1 cup chickpea flour, 1 ts salt, 1 ts black pepper, 4-6 Tbs oil, 1/2 large onion minced (optional), 1 Tbs fresh rosemary (it must be fresh or it will taste bad), 1 cup lukewarm water. Mix all well; better if you do it in the morning and let it sits till the evening. Then pour into a lightly oiled pan and bake till done, 10 to 15 mins.
 I need to share with you the recipe of this pickled eggplant, mamma mia, it is so delicious I just finished all the jars I made this summer.
