My Harvest

Despite being hit so hard by slugs, then larvas, my little farm is still producing, Mashallah. Here is what I still harvest/or harvested and stored:

 Swiss chards and spinach
One of the aubergine plants started to produce; today I counted 5 big aubergines that will be ready to harvest in few days.
Tomatoes! The plants started to produce again!
Herbs: Basil, Mint, Thyme, sage, and Parsley.
Potatoes. I planted very few plants and I harvested them all.

The Zucchini plants started to produce again!
And I harvested all the onions and I'm curing them to be stored for winter.

    1. Hi David,
Glad to hear from you; been thinking where have you disappeared!
I too was busy canning and all and will be updating this blog regularly from now on.
Yep, I'm going to get the chickens but alas, the goats not possible as my landlady won't agree. I need to get my own little farm soon. :( :( Anyone out there can help? Need someone to work his/her land?

I left my well paid job to pursue a life as an off grider, living off the land, eating only seasonal and local food; growing my own food, raising checkins for eggs. I live on a very little money but I'm happy and content. Never been this happy before. Welcome to my world.
