This is from last year canning marathon
Just to say the canning marathon has started at Casa Paradiso. I made my first patch of tomato sauce and still there will be many more to make. Also got myself a new Italian Canning and Preserving book. It is wonderful and some of the recipes are so easy and yummy, like preserving fresh mint under extra virgin olive oil or vinegar. I made one jar.
I will post photos of my work once all the canning has been done :) by mid Sept.
And oh yea, did I say I have some very good news to share ;) I will wait a bit. Some of you will be very surprised :) :)
